L.L. #612 LOCAL LODGE 612  We are a Railway Local centered in Lincoln, NE. on the BNSF we work in Lincoln Diesel Shop and the Havelock Shop and Wheel Plant. Our members also service locomotives at outlying points in Omaha and Sioux City, Iowa. We have Machinists at the Union Pacific Council Bluffs, Iowa along with BNSF and UP Traveling Mechanics, and QRS fuel truck drivers at the Lincoln Hobson Yards. We have approximately 293 regular members and 186 Retirees active in our Local. We strive for the betterment of hours, benefits and working conditions of represented members. The IAM is a large and diverse organization, representing nearly 730,000 active and retired members across North America. Each member makes a significant contribution to the success of the union. The mission of the IAM Headquarters is to help individual members realize that potential. The departments of the IAM mirror the diversity of the members that form the union.
